Crested Butte, a new Village located on the West Elk Loop Scenic and
Historic Byway, is set in an oasis of natural beauty and history.
This region of Colorado is renowned for its stunning scenery, majestic
mountains and friendliness of its residents. In addition to providing
the ultimate skiing experience, with a total of 85 ski runs catering
to all levels, every snow sport imaginable is offered. Skiing lessons
are available from age 4 and snow boarding from age 8. Off-site activities
include snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, dog sleigh
tours, snow cat touring, ice skating and sleighing. After your action-packed
day you can pamper yourself with a relaxing sauna, Jacuzzi or massage.
The center of town is a picture-perfect example of old-fashioned elegance
and charm with quaint shops and galleries together with a wide choice
of bars, pubs and restaurants.
Location:
Set at the foot of the slopes in the resort of Crested Butte, 330
kms from Denver in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
